Bright Gradient Nails | Color4Nails Crystalline Nail Veil Review

I have a really cool product to show you guys today! :)

If you're into nail art, then you've probably at least heard of the liquid latex/liquid painter's tape products that have become very popular lately.

Today, I have one of those liquid latex products to share with you! This is the Crystalline Nail Veil from Color4Nails (which already wins bonus points for the name... Nail Veil!) Haha :)

*If you have a latex allergy, do not use this product! Most of these kinds of liquid painter's tape include latex, so try to find another solution if you are allergic, like Elmer's glue.

The nail veil comes in a bottle with a thin brush, like a striping nail art brush. The latex itself is yellow and it dries a slightly darker yellow. Their website says that it dries in about one minute, but it took about 2 minutes for me.

Since it is under 10° where I live, we've all been longing for the warmer weather, which inspired me to do a gradient with super fun, bright colors! I settled on China Glaze "Float On" and "Too Yacht to Handle".

To use the latex, just paint it around your cuticle and the surrounding skin and let it dry. Then when you've finished your nail art, use tweezers to peel it off. I was really impressed; the latex peeled off in one piece and left very minimal mess. Some polish was left on my finger where I didn't apply the latex out far enough, and any other excess polish was from flooding my cuticles, which was easily fixed with my clean up brush and nail polish remover.

(Check out the video demo of me doing this gradient on my Instagram!)

I really have no complaints about the nail veil! It worked very well and made cleanup (which has always been something I hate) a breeze. Maybe this means that I might try out some more gradients and even watermarbles in the near future! :)

Later, I added a matte top coat, because why not? Haha I have the OPI Matte top coat, but I haven't used it in forever so I figured I'd put it to use. I think that it gives the gradient such a cool effect!

Hope you all enjoyed this review! If you are interested in purchasing the nail veil, it is available on www.color4nails.com for $6.
