Rose Gold Snowflake Nails and butter LONDON Instagram Takeover

butter London Peel-Off Glitter Collection | Live Swatches and Review

Today I have a swatch and review for the butter London Peel-Off Glitter Collection.

I love using glitter in my nail art, but I have to admit.... Scrubbing off glitter with acetone and trying to get every speck of glitter off my nails and cuticles after a nail art design is a bit of a hassle. When butter London reached out to me about this collection, I was so excited! It sounded like the perfect solution for me.

Essie Gel Couture Polishes Review | NailsByErin

Hi everyone!

Today I have two swatches from the Essie Gel Couture line. I was recently sent these polishes to review and I cannot believe I haven't tried out the Gel Couture line sooner!

I've been a long-time fan of Essie nail polishes (they were some of the first I ever had) and these are becoming new favorites of mine.

I received the below 8 nail polishes as well as the Platinum Grade top coat.

Overall impressions: these shades are gorgeous, the formulas are smooth and easy to apply, and the two step system seems to really compliment each other. Not to mention, these have the new, flatter and wider Essie brush which makes application a dream!! I am SO excited about their new brush and I think it is a huge improvement.

Riverdale Nails | NailsByErin

Hi everyone!

Since so many of you loved my Stranger Things Nails, I figured I should keep the series going and do another design inspired by a famous TV show... So this time I did nails themed around The CW's Riverdale!

I did each nail inspired by one of the main characters on the show.

On my pinky, I did a nail inspired by Cheryl. She is always wearing red, so I started with a red base (Color Club "Cadillac Red"). Then, I painted her black and gold spider brooch over it.

My ring finger is inspired by Veronica and a dress she wore with a scalloped collar. Then, I used a white nail polish to create some white pearls above the neckline, since Veronica loves her pearls.

My middle nail inspired by Betty. Her girl-next-door look consists of a lot of cute pink sweaters, so I took some inspiration from Season 1 Episode 2 and recreated her pink sweater with an embellished white collar. The pink nail polish is Color Club "Sugar Sheer".

 My index nail is inspired by Jughead, so of course I had to recreate his iconic crown beanie. I don't have a deep gray polish that matches his beanie very well, so I used a black and a light gray polish to create this messy, textured look instead.

On my thumb, I painted the stripes from Archie's varsity jacket. I used Essie "All the Wave" as the royal blue base.

First up is one of my top two favorites... This is "Candy Floss", a baby blue creme. Here I'm wearing three coats with top coat.

Even without top coat, I will admit these polishes are pretty shiny. They definitely can be worn without a top coat, I just always prefer to put one on in order to finish and seal in the nail polish!

Ariana Grande Cloud Sweetener Nails | NailsByErin

Today I have a super simple nail art design for you all, inspired by a nail design that Ariana Grande wore last week.

She posted a picture in her Instagram stories of her wearing matching cloud nails with her mom and her Nonna. As soon as I saw them on her story, I took a screenshot and knew I had to recreate it!

Mint and Rose Gold Floral Nails | NailsByErin

Hi everyone!

Today I have another floral design to share with all of you. These are some of my favorite manis to do! I incorporated some of my favorite polishes and designs into this one.

I have been really missing doing my simple geometric designs lately, and since you all loved my Rose Gold X Nails so much, I figured I would try another rose gold pattern. I actually pulled some inspiration for this from my Purple and Gold Floral Nails from a few years ago, where I did a white and purple floral nail and had the leaves in a metallic gold.

I have always loved that design and I was hoping to re-vamp it into this color scheme and add a little bit more of a geometric accent to it using some nail vinyls.

Hello everyone!

Today I have a really fun Disney nail art design to share with all of you, inspired by the new Disney Pixar movie The Incredibles! Since the sequel just came out, I figured it would be the perfect time to do some nail art inspired by these movies.

I actually just saw Incredibles 2 the other weekend with my family and we all loved it! We're all huge fans of the original movie and have been anxiously awaiting the sequel (for 14 years!) Q&A and Face Behind the Nails Reveal!!

Hi everyone!

Today is the day! My Q&A and Face Behind the Nails reveal is officially up on my YouTube channel. It's crazy to think that I've been doing this for 5 years and never shown my face!

I'm both excited and nervous to share this video, but I think it will be so great to open the opportunity for a new chapter on YouTube. I want to assure you all that my nail tutorials are not going away! I will still be doing mostly nail art and nail tutorials, so don't worry if that's the kind of content you subscribed for. My channel name is NailsByErin, after all 😄

For the longest time I've just felt a little disconnected from all of you, and that my social media/YouTube videos have been too impersonal. I want to be able to talk to you guys face-to-face (face-to-camera...?) so hopefully now that I've done my face reveal, I can do more fun and personal content for you all.

Hi everyone!

I have a super exciting announcement! Just last week, I hit 3,000 YouTube subscribers. And as promised, I will be doing a #facebehindthenails reveal to celebrate!

Rose Gold X Nails | Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Review | NailsByErin

Hi everyone!

Once again, I have to apologize for my hiatus. I took a break from doing a ton of nail blogging to focus on finishing up my sophomore year at college. It was a crazy semester!

Now that it's summer, I've been working full time and I'll admit, sometimes I feel like I'm running low on inspiration. Not to mention my nails have been constantly breaking... But I was able to grow them out long enough to do this simple rose gold and blush nail art!

I did this nail design using three polishes from the new Sally Hansen Insta-Dri line.

The shades I used were "Buff and Tumble", "White on Time", and "Petal to the Metal". I just thought these pink-toned shades went together so well! I think this is a beautiful color combination. I also used the Snail Vinyls Right Angle vinyls to create the design on my ring finger, and used dotting tools for the small accents on my pinky and index nails.

This was my first time using the new Sally Hansen Insta-Dri polishes, and I have to say that I was impressed! The brush is perfectly designed (very much like the usual Sally Hansen brush) and makes for an easy application with a nearly perfect cuticle line. I also found these polishes to be very self-leveling! And at the price, it's hard to beat. I can't speak for the longevity yet, as I haven't worn one for longer than a day, but hopefully I'll be publishing a more in-depth swatch/review of one of these shades soon.

The Sally Hansen Insta-Dri polishes go for $4.99 a bottle and can be found at Ulta, CVS, and Walgreens.

Sheer White and Purple Floral Nails

This week was the first official day of spring, and here in NJ we celebrated with.... snow. But this nail art is definitely getting me more and more excited for the beautiful spring weather!
