illimité Impressionism Collection (Swatches and Review) | NailsByErin

Hello everyone!

Today I have a swatch and review for the entire Impressionism Collection by illimité! These polishes are exclusive to Live Love Polish and are designed and made in New York City.

I was so excited when I received these from LLP because I have seen them all over Instagram, and they looked so gorgeous! The polishes all look so unique and I love the packaging and design of the illimité brand. The bottles come in little white boxes and have the beautiful gold illimité logo across them. Plus, I absolutely love how the line is inspired by past artists and their work!

So, let's get into the swatches!

"Falling Petals" is a soft pink sheer polish with holographic microglitter. I'm wearing 3 thin coats with the Live Love Polish Quick Dry Top Coat. It's only the slightest bit sheer with 3 coats! You can barely see the white part of my nail. In most lights, it looks opaque.

This is such a beautiful polish. It has a subtle blue shimmer that is noticeable in the light, and the microglitters are scattered so well throughout the polish that they just sparkle so delicately. This is perfect if you love nude pinks or soft pinks, but are looking for something a little bit different.

Next up is "Absinthe" is a soft minty polish with an opalescent purple shimmer and silver holographic microglitters. Here I am wearing 2 coats with the Live Love Polish Quick Dry Top Coat. This one might be one of my favorites! It is a beautiful color and the shimmer is so strong and beautiful. And you guys know how much I love mint nail polish 😁

Looking at the pictures, I might have needed a third coat, but my nail line is only slightly visible here. In person, it wasn't so noticeable!

"Sunrise Over the Seine" is a hot pink with a purple shimmer and holographic microglitter. Here I am wearing 2 coats with the  Live Love Polish Quick Dry Top CoatA layer of top coat really brings out the purple-y blue shift in this polish. It is so stunning!

I don't usually wear hot pink nail colors, but this is such a fun color! If you are all about pink nail polish, then I would definitely recommend picking this up.

"At the Cabaret" is a fiery orange with a gold shimmer. Here I am wearing 2 coats with the Live Love Polish Quick Dry Top Coat. This one was perfectly in 2 coats. Orange is not usually a color I like, and I rarely wear orange nail polishes, but this is a gorgeous shade and a totally unique polish for me! If you're into oranges then this would be a great addition to your collection.

For some reason this polish just really reminds me of fire! It's the best way I can describe it. The gold shimmer is so stunning! My bright lights brought it out a little bit, but it is even more noticeable in the sunlight.

"Flâneur" is a light purple shade with a pink opalescent shimmer and holographic microglitter. I'm wearing 2 coats with the Live Love Polish Quick Dry Top Coat. This is easily another favorite of mine from the collection! Such a perfect shade of purple and the pink shimmer just makes this polish so unique and stunning. Not to mention the microglitter, which are scattered perfectly throughout the polish and add that little extra sparkle!

I can see myself wearing this shade all the time. I just can't stop staring at that shimmer!! 😍

"Paris on a Rainy Day" is a beautiful blue shimmer polish. I love this color! It is such a lovely shade of blue and the shimmer is so pretty. I wore 2 coats topped with Live Love Polish Quick Dry Top Coat. This looked perfectly opaque in person, but under my super bright lights, sometimes you can slightly see my nail line. I think in 3 coats this would be completely opaque.

This is another favorite for me! I usually gravitate towards cool tones, so it's no surprise. I don't really have any other blues like this, and I am so happy to have added it to my collection!

The formulas on these were all easy to work with, and with their gorgeous shimmers it is just so mesmerizing to watch them apply. I would highly recommend them!

Each polish is $16, and you can buy the entire collection here for $96.

I hope you all enjoyed this review and found it helpful!
