Today I have a design that I really love to share with you all. I hope you're not tired of seeing florals yet! ;) This is an elegant purple floral design over a sheer, milky white base.
This week was the first official day of spring, and here in NJ we celebrated with.... snow. But this nail art is definitely getting me more and more excited for the beautiful spring weather!

Now for some details about the mani! For the base, I did two coats of Londontown "Princess Awaits", a sheer pinky-nude with tiny golden specks. This is seriously such a gorgeous polish and I forgot how much I love it! With two easy coats, you get this perfect amount of color and sheerness, and the super small gold flecks catch the light so beautifully. It looks perfect just on it's own! But of course I had to add some florals :)
I used three Essie purple shades for the flowers: Lilacism, Play Date, and Designated DJ. I like using 3 shades for my flowers because I think it gives them the most dimension. I also used Orly "Fresh Start" for the little leaves around the flowers. I painted all the details with the Mitty Candy 00 Nail Art Brush from Snail Vinyls!
Clearly, I kinda went a little crazy with pictures of this mani... I just ended up being really happy with how it turned out! Over the years I think my freehand roses have really come a long way.
I also took a few pictures with this little cat ear ring from Catbird that I got as a gift for Christmas! It is so cute and I loved using it in these pictures. I'm hoping to use it in some other posts too! What do you guys think of me including little accessories like this? :)
I also wanted to include this little macro of the roses on my ring finger. You can also catch a little glimpse of the gold flakes in "Princess Awaits".
