Gold Daisy Nails | NailsByErin

Hi everyone!

Today's post is a simple nail art design.... and basically a re-imagining of one of my favorite designs from about 2 and a half years ago.

I did a white and gold daisy nail design almost identical to this one, but I decided to recreate it since I've really been loving simple and elegant nail art like this lately. Not to mention this style is all over Instagram and Pinterest... so definitely not original, but I'm really happy with how this one turned out!

Keep on reading for more info on these polishes and how I did this design....

I started with a base of my favorite sheer nail polish ever, Londontown "Princess Awaits". It is a gorgeous milky white with flecks of orange-gold glitter. You can make it very sheer like I did here with 2 thin coats, or make it more opaque and white by applying a third coat.

Then, I used a dotting tool to create some small white daisies across my nails. I also used single chevron vinyls on my pinky, middle nail, and thumb to make some thin gold glitter chevrons. The ones I used are from Snail Vinyls, which is unfortunately closed now... but you can find vinyls like the ones I used from most nail vinyl shops here online.

The gold glitter polish I used was I Scream Nails "That's Rich", which has been my go-to gold glitter polish lately! I dotted it into the center of each flower and sealed everything in with a top coat.

And that's the design! Pretty simple, really, but it definitely looks beautiful on any nail length. You can even play around with different color combos and glitters. Even though I typically don't wear nail art in my day-to-day life, I can see myself choosing to wear this one. Gold and white is always such a classic look!

Hope you all love this design as much as I do!
