Hi everyone!
Sorry for being a little bit remiss about posting here over the past 2 months... I was finishing up my semester and wasn't able to write as much. Hopefully you'll be hearing more from me now that it's the summer!
Today I'm doing a swatch and review of the entire Body & Sol Summer 2019 Collection from China Glaze. The collection is 8 polishes total, and are various different shades of nude with some sort of a glimmery, shimmery twist to each. I was really excited to try these out since they are totally different from what I'd expect of a summer collection. But as someone who does not wear many summer neons and bright colors, these seem much more my style. Plus, all of these polishes are so different from anything else I have in my collection.
Let's get into the review... Be warned: this is a photo heavy post!
First up is "Beaches and Toes". Here I'm wearing 3 coats with top coat. I probably could've gotten away with 2, but the third coat really helps make everything a little more opaque. I would describe this as a classic taupe, with silver holographic microglitter throughout.

Aqua Floral Phone Case Inspired Nails
Hello everyone!
I didn't have a lot of time for nails this week, but I really wanted to try out a freehand floral pattern. I really miss doing freehand designs! I used to only do designs like this but I guess my style has changed since then.
Anyway, I got the inspiration for this floral pattern from my sister's phone case. It has such a pretty floral pattern and I really wanted to recreate it on my nails! The design didn't turn out quite how I wanted it to, but I decided to post this anyway.

China Glaze "Keep Calm, Paint On" Swatch and Review
Hello everyone!
Today I have another swatch and review for you! I received China Glaze "Keep Calm, Paint On" in my recent haul from Live Love Polish.
In case you don't know, Live Love Polish is new an online nail shop. They offer great brands like China Glaze, Model's Own, NCLA, Color Club, and more from all over the world! The best part is that Live Love Polish guarantees authenticity for each polish, so you don't have to worry about getting knockoffs. They get their products directly from the brands rather than unreliable discount suppliers that could be selling fake, defective or expired nail polishes. Live Love Polish also has fast shipping, and yes, it is international!
"Keep Calm, Paint On" is a light green/mint green creme with a subtle silver shimmer. This polish is sooo pretty and the little bit of shimmer is only slightly noticeable but it makes a huge difference. It is so beautiful!

China Glaze "Too Yacht to Handle" Swatch and Review
Hello everyone!
I'm back with another swatch from the polishes that I got from Live Love Polish!
(More info about Live Love Polish can be found on my last blog post and at the bottom of this one)
I have been so excited to try out this one! I've been eyeing "Too Yacht to Handle" for a long time. I love blue-green colors and I have been wanting to add this one to my collection!
(Oh, and if you haven't already noticed, my nails keep getting shorter and shorter. My squares have been breaking like crazy on the corners!)
"Too Yacht to Handle" is a bright aqua/teal creme that leans more towards blue in brighter lights and more towards green in darker lights. I am wearing 3 coats with top coat in the photo above, and it is shown in natural lighting. As you can see, the green tones really come through in the slightly darker lighting.

Summer Floral and Polka Dot Nails
Yep, it's that time of the year again where summer comes to an end and we all go back to school. *cries hysterically*
But I'm trying to hang on to my last little bit of summer on my last week of vacation so I decided to do these summer-y floral nails. What better polish to use to capture the colors of summer than China Glaze "Flip Flop Fantasy"?
I used Sally Hansen "Mellow Yellow", China Glaze "Flip Flop Fantasy", and OPI "Miami Beet" for the flowers, and I used Essie "The More the Merrier" and "Naughty Nautical" for the leaves. |

New Polishes From Christmas!
So I got A LOT of new polishes during the holidays... My family knows that I'm obsessed! :) I wanted to make a blog post to share with you my new polishes and to show you a few swatches.
Just to be clear: I am not in any way bragging about the nail polish that I received for the holidays, I just tend to share everything nail polish related with you all, and I also wanted to see if there were any swatches of colors or certain colors you would like to know more about.

By the way, this is my "Nails By Erin" ornament that I got while on vacation this year! |
