Hi everyone!
Today I have a super easy 4th of July nail design to share with all of you.
A few weeks ago, Sarah from 25Sweetpeas asked me to participate in her Summer Magazine Collaboration, themed around the Fourth of July! I highly recommend checking out the full magazine; it is filled with amazing nail designs, music playlists, food, fashion, and more from some amazing nail bloggers.
You can find the Summer Magazine here.
Now, onto the nails!

Beach Nails (Re-do from 4 years ago!)
Hi everyone!
Today I have a recreation of one of my old designs (from July 2013!!) I did some beach nail art and since I was going down the shore this weekend, I decided to recreate this design.
Plus, a recreation was kind of necessary. I always cringe when I look back at my old nail art, and this was no exception. But on the other hand, it's great to see how much I've improved over the years!
Keep on reading to see more pictures and find out how I created this design!

Mint and Rhinestone Nails | Sally Beauty
Hi everyone!
Today I have a super simple and pretty nail design using products from Sally Beauty! I used Orly Breathable nail polish in "Fresh Start" as the main color in this design. I also picked up a pack of rhinestones by Cina while I was at Sally Beauty, since their color scheme went really well with this polish!
These Orly Breathable polishes are a 3-in-1: they recommend wearing the two coats of color on its own, no base or top coat required! This polish does look great on its own, but for the sake of this design I did end up using top coat. With two thin coats the mint was opaque. And it is such a beautiful color!

Marble Effect Nails
Hello everyone!
Today I have a very simple and chic design to share with you. I have seen a lot of people doing marble nails lately and I think that they look super cool and I wanted to try it for myself!
I decided to incorporate a little bit of gold and blue into this mani as well. I have to say, I'm so happy with how this turned out! So cute and totally my style.
I painted my index and pinky nails with Essie "Blossom Dany" (seriously, if you don't own this shade, drop everything and get a bottle of it right now. Absolutely one of my all time favorites.) and did a white to "Blossom Dandy" gradient on my ring finger nail.
I used some single chevron vinyls from Snail Vinyls to do the skinny chevron lines on my nails. I wanted to incorporate the gold polish without it overpowering the rest of the mani, and I think that these thin accents worked really well!
Here's a close up of the marble nail:

Pastel Galaxy Nails
Hello everyone!
Today I have a very cute mani to share with all of you! After doing a blob gradient in my previous nail design, I realized how much the colors looked like a colorful galaxy. And it dawned on me that I have never done pastel galaxy nails! So here they are :)

Gradient Heart Nails
Hello everyone!
I have great news! My college application process is coming to a close and that means that (*fingers crossed*) I will have more nail art time. Yay! :)
I recently received some adorable Valentine's Day nail vinyls from Snail Vinyls. I absolutely loved the heart nail stencils, so I decided to do this simple gradient heart design!

Glitter Snowflake Nails
Hello everyone!
Long time, no see! I know that some of you have been missing my nail art and I apologize for my long absence.
For those of you who don't know, I started my senior year in high school this year, which means my life has been taken over by college applications/preparations. On top of that, I am planning to be an art major, which means any extra time I have is spend on art pieces to create my portfolio.
With all of the time I have had to spend on my portfolio and college aps, my nail art was pushed to the back-burner. I have only worn plain colors on my nails for weeks... Sometimes even nothing at all!
But I have a quick winter-y nail design for all of you, which is perfect for Christmas and through the rest of winter.

Hello everyone!
I am SO excited about today's mani. I had this idea in my head of how I wanted to do a design with these amazing Right Angle nail vinyls from Snail Vinyls and I ended up loving how it looked so much that I did it on both of my hands! Rainbow Infinite Ombre Nails | Preen.Me & Sephora Formula X Infinite Ombre System
Hello everyone!
Today I have a rainbow ombre design using the new Formula X Infinite Ombre polishes! I was sent these by Sephora and Preen.Me through the #PreenMeVIP program to try.
I the system comes with 5 polishes: four colored polishes and one metallic silver polish (used as the base). The colored polishes are basically jelly polishes. The reddish pink is called "Boundless Berry", the yellow is "Limitless Lemon", the teal/green is "Timeless Teal" and the purple is called "Infinite Indigo". The "Platinum Prime" base gives the jelly polishes a really cool effect when layered over them.

St. Patrick's Day Glitter Gradient with Salon Perfect "Luck of the Irish"
Hello everyone!
I've had a total nail blogger fail, not to mention a total Irish-girl fail... I had absolutely no nail art for St. Patrick's Day! My nails weren't even painted green yesterday!
Luckily, I came home from school yesterday afternoon to some St. Patrick's nail mail from Salon Perfect. I wish I could have gotten it sooner, so I could have had time to swatch them all and write a full blog post for you, but I just couldn't get a whole collection review up in a few hours!
I think I will still be reviewing the collection, but it will be up later. Sorry again for not having these polishes for a St. Patrick's Day swatch spam!
This is a glitter topper from the collection, appropriately named "Luck of the Irish"! It's a fun, glittery polish (gold hex glitter with gold but mostly green micro-glitter) in a clear base.

Textured Mermaid Scale Nails | Snail Vinyls Review
Hello everyone!
Today I have a very fun (and summery!) design using scale nail art vinyls from Snail Vinyls! Yup, I am sooo done with winter and I can't wait for the warmer weather.
When I first saw these scale vinyls, I knew that I wanted to do a mermaid scale nail design. I picked up OPI "Honey Ryder' and Nicole by OPI "That's What I Mint" because they are two gorgeous textured polishes that not only compliment each other but they make perfect mermaid colors!

Bright Gradient Nails | Color4Nails Crystalline Nail Veil Review
I have a really cool product to show you guys today! :)
If you're into nail art, then you've probably at least heard of the liquid latex/liquid painter's tape products that have become very popular lately.
Today, I have one of those liquid latex products to share with you! This is the Crystalline Nail Veil from Color4Nails (which already wins bonus points for the name... Nail Veil!) Haha :)
*If you have a latex allergy, do not use this product! Most of these kinds of liquid painter's tape include latex, so try to find another solution if you are allergic, like Elmer's glue.
The nail veil comes in a bottle with a thin brush, like a striping nail art brush. The latex itself is yellow and it dries a slightly darker yellow. Their website says that it dries in about one minute, but it took about 2 minutes for me.
Since it is under 10° where I live, we've all been longing for the warmer weather, which inspired me to do a gradient with super fun, bright colors! I settled on China Glaze "Float On" and "Too Yacht to Handle".

Rainbow Swirl Nails
Hello everyone!
As you probably know, I received a bunch of awesome nail vinyls from Twinkled T a little while ago. One of the first set of vinyls that caught my eye was the cyclone vinyls! These look sooo awesome, and I decided to use them to do this rainbow swirl design.

Mint Gradient Butterfly Water Decal Nails | Born Pretty Store Review
Hello everyone!
Today I have a part two for sharing these products from Born Pretty Store. I also received these beautiful butterfly water decals!
By the way, don't forget to use my code NSBW10 for 10% off your order on www.bornprettystore.com!
I didn't want to just layer these over white, or just have it as an accent on one finger, so I decided to create a white to mint gradient underneath! I used Salon Perfect "Sugar Cube" and LVX "Mynt". I am very happy with how it turned out!

Halloween Watermarble Nails
Okay, I'll admit it. I consider these to be a bit of a nail fail. Especially the index finger.... *sigh* I hate when I have an awesome idea that I've envisioned in my head and then when I try it for real it is a mess.
But anyway, I did this design as a fun alternative to all the drip nails, zombie nails, and cute Halloween characters that I've been seeing a lot. I really wanted to do those manis because I love them, but I also wanted to try something a little different. I decided to do a white to orange gradient with a black and clear watermarble over it.

70's Inspired Zebra Print Mani
Hello everyone! I'm back with another mani using polishes from the Salon Perfect "Top of the Class" collection; this time from the 70's portion of it!
The 70's part of the collection is called "70's Disco Divas" and it lives up to its decade with lots of color and glitter. The polishes I received were "Disco Ballin'", "Foxy Lady", and "Disco Diva".
The polishes I used in this mani were "Disco Ballin'" and "Foxy Lady". I also used Salon Perfect "Sugar Cube" for a white base color, and finished the mani with the Salon Perfect Crystal Clear Top Coat. The zebra stripes were painted with black acrylic paint and a small brush.
