Blue and Silver Quatrefoil Nails

Hello everyone!

If you follow me on Twitter, you probably know that I tried watermarbling the other day for my new nail design. And you probably figured out that it didn't end up working too well.

After mourning the fact that I have no watermarbling skills, I needed a pick-me-up mani that was completely my style (a.k.a. blue and bling, especially with a bling accent nail).

So I pulled out these quatrefoil vinyls that I received from Snail Vinyls (they're called the Moroccan Stencils on their site) and threw this mani together!

Textured Mermaid Scale Nails | Snail Vinyls Review

Hello everyone!

Today I have a very fun (and summery!) design using scale nail art vinyls from Snail Vinyls! Yup, I am sooo done with winter and I can't wait for the warmer weather.

When I first saw these scale vinyls, I knew that I wanted to do a mermaid scale nail design. I picked up OPI "Honey Ryder' and Nicole by OPI "That's What I Mint" because they are two gorgeous textured polishes that not only compliment each other but they make perfect mermaid colors!

Soft Purple Gradient Nails with Born Pretty Store Bow

Hello everyone!

Today I have a nice "refresher" mani to share with you all. I wanted to do something simple and pretty that would compliment this cute little silver nail bow from Born Pretty Store (these come in a bunch of different, silver and pearl designs, but the one I'm using here is #727).

After a serious amount of resisting from reaching for a light pink, I picked up Color Club "Holy Chic" for the gradient in this mani. Not only do I love the name, but the color is stunning and creates such a lovely gradient when paired with white. I've really been loving purples and blues lately, and while this is definitely a light purple it does lean towards that sort of cool purple/periwinkle color. It is gorgeous!

Bright Gradient Nails | Color4Nails Crystalline Nail Veil Review

I have a really cool product to show you guys today! :)

If you're into nail art, then you've probably at least heard of the liquid latex/liquid painter's tape products that have become very popular lately.

Today, I have one of those liquid latex products to share with you! This is the Crystalline Nail Veil from Color4Nails (which already wins bonus points for the name... Nail Veil!) Haha :)

*If you have a latex allergy, do not use this product! Most of these kinds of liquid painter's tape include latex, so try to find another solution if you are allergic, like Elmer's glue.

The nail veil comes in a bottle with a thin brush, like a striping nail art brush. The latex itself is yellow and it dries a slightly darker yellow. Their website says that it dries in about one minute, but it took about 2 minutes for me.

Since it is under 10° where I live, we've all been longing for the warmer weather, which inspired me to do a gradient with super fun, bright colors! I settled on China Glaze "Float On" and "Too Yacht to Handle".
