Born Pretty Store Thermal Polish Swatch & Review

Hello everyone!

Today I have a really fun swatch and review for you all, with two thermal polishes from Born Pretty Store!

These polishes don't have names, so the only way to identify them is by their assigned numbers. I received #104 and #301.

First up is #301. This one changes from a sky blue (warm) to a periwinkle-purple (cold). The change is very subtle, but the color is so pretty!

(By the way, I have water on my hands and around my cuticles because I ran my nails underwater before these photos)

Here it is in its warm state:

And cold:

And starting to transition. Again, the change is very subtle:

Formula was tricky on this one. It was kind of patchy. With two coats, it was good enough from far away, but the camera would still pick up the bald spots, so here I am wearing three coats. The polish was a little thick, as well, and it took some time to dry. Nothing too bad, but I can't say that the formula was amazing.

Next up is #104. This one shifts from a dark purple (cold) to a deep magenta (warm).

Here it is in the warm state:

And when it is cold:

And here it is transitioning:

The formula was much better on this one! It was two coats and the formula was less thick than the first. It went on pretty smoothly, as well. I actually LOVE both of the colors that this changes to! I was impressed much more with how the polish transition and

You definitely need a top coat when using these two polishes. They dry to a slightly waxy, non-shiny finish. I used the Glisten and Glow HK Girl Top Coat for these pictures.

  1. These look so pretty! I feel thermals are usually more patchy :o

    1. I've found that with thermals, too! But they are very pretty, and the thermal effect is so fun! Haha :) I definitely stared at my nails while running them under water for a while... :P
