Soft Purple Gradient Nails with Born Pretty Store Bow

Hello everyone!

Today I have a nice "refresher" mani to share with you all. I wanted to do something simple and pretty that would compliment this cute little silver nail bow from Born Pretty Store (these come in a bunch of different, silver and pearl designs, but the one I'm using here is #727).

After a serious amount of resisting from reaching for a light pink, I picked up Color Club "Holy Chic" for the gradient in this mani. Not only do I love the name, but the color is stunning and creates such a lovely gradient when paired with white. I've really been loving purples and blues lately, and while this is definitely a light purple it does lean towards that sort of cool purple/periwinkle color. It is gorgeous!

I've used a few nail bows in the past, but this one might be my favorite one ever! It is so tiny and dainty, and the actual back of the bow is curved so it will lay right against your nail rather than having the edges stick up. It makes it so much more practical!

The bow is made with white pearls and silver stones. I think that this would look great with elegant designs, simple designs like this, or even super blinged-out manis.

While doing the gradient, I used the Color4Nails Crystalline Nail Veil, which has been a lifesaver for me. It seriously makes cleanup almost non-existent! I can finally do messy nail art without the time consuming struggle of cleanup! Read my full review of the nail veil here.

Here's a close-up of the gradient:

I am so happy with how this gradient mani turned out... I never really do something so simple but I am in love with this one!

Even though this is just a simple gradient, I made a YouTube tutorial here:

This tutorial would be great for those of you who are struggling with getting gradients down. I've learned and improved a lot since I first started, and I tried to mention some of my best tips in there!
